4. Moisturizing
With cleansing this is the absolute next most important step. It is crucial to keep your skin nourished. When the skin is allowed to get dry is when all the problems can begin. Dry skin is the reason for wrinkles, sagging folds and pouches. The best way to moisturize is apply your favorite lotion or cream to damp or wet skin.
This is true for every part of your body. After your shower you should gently pat your body dry leaving it slightly damp and then apply a good body moisturizer, the same technique should be used on your face. When you finish cleansing, apply your moisturizer.
